Simple rules for every rental.
These terms form part of every Go Bahamas Rentals booking and will be included in the customer’s personalized rental agreement.
Driver eligibility
The renter and every approved driver must be at least 25 years old and present a valid driver’s licence before receiving the vehicle. Only drivers approved by Go Bahamas Rentals may operate the vehicle.
Rental payment and security deposit
Payment is due before or upon collection of the vehicle. Payment may be made by cash, bank transfer, or credit card. Credit card payment may be completed through an approved card terminal or a secure payment-gateway link supplied by Go Bahamas Rentals. The $100 security deposit may be applied to amounts owed under these terms, including documented cleaning, damage, fuel, late-return or policy-violation charges.
No smoking, vaping or eating
Smoking, vaping and eating are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. If Go Bahamas Rentals documents evidence of a violation—including ash, smoke or vape residue, food residue, stains, spills, burns or related odors—the renter’s $100 security deposit will be forfeited. The deposit does not limit the renter’s responsibility. Documented cleaning, odor treatment, upholstery repair, burn repair or other damage costs above $100 remain payable by the renter.
Vehicle condition and photographs
The renter should inspect the vehicle at pickup and may submit before-trip photographs to document its condition. On the return date, the renter will also be prompted to submit optional return photographs. Go Bahamas Rentals staff must take and save the official return-inspection photographs before closing the booking. Any existing issue should be reported before driving. The renter is responsible for loss or damage occurring during the rental, subject to the final signed agreement and applicable insurance.
Fuel and return time
The vehicle is provided with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank. It must be returned by the agreed date and time. A 30-minute grace period applies; after that period, a $50 additional-day charge is due.
Pickup and return
All rentals have a 2-day minimum. The standard pickup and return location is sent by WhatsApp after confirmation. Optional pickup service at an approved gas-station landmark is $10, and optional drop-off service is $10. Requesting both services adds $20. Each service must be confirmed in advance.
Regular rental service hours are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pickup or drop-off outside these hours may be requested by appointment, including for airport customers, but is not guaranteed until staff approve and confirm the requested time.
Customer agreement
Submitting a booking request records the customer’s acceptance of the vehicle-care policy. A booking remains subject to staff approval, payment and completion of the personalized rental agreement before pickup.
